The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) were joined by Mayor Muriel Bowser and organization leaders on May 16th at an event to showcase the DC Infrastructure Academy (DCIA).
Launched in 2018 by Mayor Bowser, DCIA is a partnership between the District government and utility, union, university, and private sector partners to create a pipeline to in-demand infrastructure jobs for DC residents.
